Sisters Unchained - nonprofit
Sisters Unchained is a Boston-based nonprofit dedicated to supporting young women impacted by parental incarceration and transforming the systems that shape their lives. Ritual Creative Co. partnered with the organization to reimagine its brand identity and digital presence, creating a visual system that reflects the strength, urgency, and intergenerational resilience at the heart of their mission.
Our work included a full identity redesign, a new Squarespace website, social media direction, and a cohesive visual language built to support storytelling, fundraising, and community engagement. The updated brand centers liberation, softness, and clarity — offering a visual home that honors the complexity of the work while remaining accessible and culturally resonant.
This project marked the first of multiple collaborations with founder Vanessa; together we built a brand world capable of holding grief, advocacy, and transformation, while giving the organization the tools and visual structure needed to grow.
