This was my second project with Vanessa, following a complete design overhaul of her nonprofit, Sisters Unchained. Ahvanly is her up-and-coming media company and retirement plan (some of us never stop moving or working for the greater good). I love collaborating with social activists like Vanessa. Creating visual language for people who are building change in the world challenges me to listen deeply, think critically, and design with soul. This project gave me the chance to play in the depths of shadow, which is a space I know well and love creating in.
